This Might be a Radio Show is a comedy and music project created by Jacob Freer-Balko. It ran from 2016-2024, and originally aired on public radio. The series followed the semi-fictitious adventures of “Dr. Worm” as he hosted a popular radio show in the city of Stupidopolis. The show was a creative mix of real music and autobiographical anecdotes, with absurd scripted scenarios featuring an extended cast of characters. Valiantly Off Balance co-produced what would end up being the show’s final season. Although not producing anymore regular episodes, the show may return sporadically for specials.
